To support our committed team at our headquarters in Berching we are currently hiring

Your responsibilities: 

  • Development of backend services, APIs, and data models as the foundation for our customer portal, service applications, and customer apps
  • Responsibility for key cross-functional areas such as authentication and authorization, interfaces to third-party systems, as well as logging and monitoring
  • End-to-end implementation of features—from the data model to the user interface—in accordance with shared frontend standards
  • Building and further developing the backend for mobile applications, including integration, authentication, synchronization, and deployment
  • Operating our own services, containers on Kubernetes, rolling out updates via GitOps, monitoring, and alerts; ensuring stability and security in production
  • Ensuring performance, stability, scalability, and cybersecurity
  • Working within defined architectural guidelines and actively contributing to their development
  • Cross-team code reviews covering both front-end and back-end, testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing

Your skills and qualifications: 

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in backend development with TypeScript and Node.js, including API design with OpenAPI and data modeling
  • Experience contributing to the development of a multi-tenant web application in production, such as a SaaS product or customer portal
  • In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, as well as experience with authentication and authorization concepts, multi-tenant capabilities, integrations, and event-driven architectures
  • Implementation of front-end features using React with end-to-end responsibility; knowledge of front-end development is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Argo CD, Kustomize, Next.js, Python, and FastAPI; Infrastructure as Code; backend development for mobile applications (React Native, PWA); Industrial IoT; and experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment processes
  • Experience with AI-driven development, as well as the ability to critically evaluate the results and take responsibility for their implementation
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
